Client Spotlight: Anything Bagel Celebrates Grand Opening at McNaughten Centre in Columbus, OH

COLUMBUS, Ohio — August 14, 2026 — A new chapter began at McNaughten Centre Friday morning as Anything Bagel officially opened its doors, taking over the former Blocks Bagels location and bringing a fresh locally owned concept to the Columbus community.

The grand opening kicked off at 8:00 a.m. on August 14, and the community showed up in a big way. Customers lined up out the door to be among the first to experience Anything Bagel in its new home. Aventi Enterprises was proud to be there to celebrate the milestone alongside a client whose journey demonstrates what can happen when a strong business opportunity is paired with intentional planning, access to capital and disciplined execution.

From Business Plan to Grand Opening: Contracts Are Next

Before the first customer walked through the doors, there was significant work happening behind the scenes. Anything Bagel partnered with Aventi to develop a strategic business plan that defined the vision, evaluated the market opportunity and established financial projections. The business plan and projections helped position Anything Bagel for financing and supported the capital needed to move the acquisition forward.

Once financing was secured, Aventi's role shifted from planning to implementation. Launch and transition advisory support included budget tracking, staffing and operational readiness, grand opening preparation and performance measures designed to track the business beyond opening day.

Anything Bagel is entering a location with an established history in Columbus' bagel community. The former Blocks Bagels space at 6115 McNaughten Centre carries memories for longtime customers, many of whom expressed excitement leading up to the opening.
