Aventi Enterprises: Empowering Small Businesses Through Strategic Partnerships

Updated: 7 days ago

Supporting Local Economically Disadvantaged Enterprises

In September 2025, Aventi Enterprises proudly became the Outreach Services Consultant for Columbus City Schools. This role supports the largest school district in Ohio as it strengthens its Local Economically Disadvantaged Enterprises (LEDE) program. Our mission is to help small businesses thrive by connecting them with valuable opportunities.

The district is taking intentional steps to expand outreach to certified LEDE vendors. They aim to create more awareness of available opportunities and ensure that small and disadvantaged businesses stay connected to the district’s procurement pipeline. This initiative is vital for fostering growth and inclusivity in the local economy.

Our Role as Outreach Services Consultant

As the Outreach Services Consultant, Aventi will focus on several key areas:

  • Leading Outreach Efforts: We will actively reach out to current and prospective LEDE vendors, ensuring they are informed and engaged.

  • Supporting Vendor Certification: We will assist vendors in becoming LEDE certified and help them keep their information up to date.

  • Providing Guidance: Our team will offer guidance and assistance to businesses interested in working with Columbus City Schools.

  • Building Connections: We aim to strengthen the relationship between the district and the local business community.

“At Aventi, we strive every day to position small businesses for growth through contracting opportunities,” said Deonna Barnett, Director of Consulting at Aventi Enterprises. “We are eager to partner with Columbus City Schools to ensure that LEDE vendors have the support, visibility, and resources they need to succeed.”

The Importance of Updating Vendor Information

The first step in this outreach initiative is encouraging all current LEDE vendors with Columbus City Schools to update their vendor information. Keeping this information current is crucial. It ensures that vendors remain visible for upcoming opportunities.

By maintaining accurate vendor profiles, businesses can increase their chances of securing contracts and participating in district projects. This proactive approach is essential for maximizing growth potential.

How to Get Involved

If you are a current LEDE vendor or interested in becoming one, we encourage you to reach out. To discuss working with Columbus City Schools, contact Aventi Enterprises at 614-528-4138 or email hello@aventienterprises.com.

Conclusion: A Path to Growth

Aventi Enterprises is committed to empowering small businesses through strategic partnerships. Our collaboration with Columbus City Schools is a significant step toward achieving this goal. Together, we can create a thriving environment for LEDE vendors and ensure they have the resources they need to succeed.

By fostering connections and providing support, we aim to help small businesses navigate the complexities of government and corporate contracts. This initiative is not just about securing contracts; it's about building a sustainable future for our local economy.

Let’s work together to unlock new opportunities and drive growth for small businesses in our community. Your success is our mission, and we are here to support you every step of the way.
