Aventi Enterprises is thrilled to highlight the remarkable achievements of the 2023 Business Planning for Profitability Accelerator, sponsored by Rev1 Ventures. With a total of four cohorts, and 34 dedicated entrepreneurs completing the rigorous program, we witnessed an inspiring journey of growth, learning, and empowerment.
Throughout the year, Aventi received 80 applications, accepting 62 participants and welcomed a diverse group of emerging business owners, with each cohort bringing its unique blend of talent, ambition, and innovation. The Winter cohort saw ten determined individuals complete the program, followed by eight in the spring, five in the summer, and eleven in the fall—each cohort representing a vibrant tapestry of entrepreneurial spirit.
At the heart of the Business Planning for Profitability Accelerator is the mission to equip entrepreneurs with the essential skills and knowledge needed to develop robust business plans and compelling pitches. Through a 9-week curriculum, participants immersed themselves in the intricacies of business modeling, financial analysis, and effective communication—all essential elements in attracting potential investors and lenders.
We are proud of our graduates, who showcased their newfound expertise and confidence at the graduation ceremony held on December 6th, 2023, at Rev1 Ventures studios. This collaborative partnership with Rev1 Ventures has been instrumental in providing invaluable support and resources to minority business owners in Central Ohio, ensuring they have the tools and opportunities needed to thrive.
