The Aventi Team: Meet the People Behind It All
The Aventi team is a group of talented and diverse individuals who share a passion for business and entrepreneurship. Their unique talents and personalities are what make Aventi work. We connected with each team member to learn more about what interests them and what's behind their genius minds.
At the team's helm is Deonna Barnett, the CEO and Managing Consultant of Aventi Enterprises. Deonna has over 15 years of experience in the marketing and business consulting industry. Deonna strongly desires to travel to West Africa and visit the slave ports, which speaks to her curiosity about history and culture. Deonna loves over-watching the Fresh Prince of Bel-Air and binge-watch "The Profit." Coming to America is still her favorite movie, highlighting her appreciation for classic films. If able to have dinner with anyone, she would choose to have dinner with Oprah, as she is one of her most significant role models. Deonna also has a personal connection to music, with her father being a talented and gifted piano player who taught some of the greatest musicians of our time, including Donny Hathaway. Finally, if Deonna could have any superpower, she would choose to freeze time, as there is never enough time in the day to significantly impact the world.
Tyrone Martin is Aventi's Sr. Business Consultant over Special Projects. Tyrone has always known that he wanted to work with electronics since grade school and is the electronics expert of the team, with a natural talent for fixing things and finding solutions. He's the youngest boy in his family but was number seven of nine kids. He is known in his family as the "MacGyver" because he can fix anything or come up with any solution. He's a proud Marvel fan and considers Pepsi a "health drink" or "super formula" (pause for disclaimer: the views expressed by our team members are like their own favorite pizza toppings, they may be awesome and unique, but they don't necessarily represent the views of the company).
Sheronda Barnett is Aventi's Certification Consultant. She has over 13 years experience in the banking industry with a focus on compliance. Sheronda enjoys personal development books and says that if she won $1 million, she'd use it to invest in something that would generate more revenue. She's a fan of the TV show Chicago PD, and the movie I Am Sam. Her dream destinations are Belize and Mykonos, Greece, and if she could have any superpower, it would be the ability to fly so she could travel the world with ease.
Anna Yakubson is Aventi's Client Coordinator over Strategy & Planning. She is a driven and creative entrepreneur with a background in sales and marketing and over 15 years in both corporate and entrepreneurial roles. Anna is a loyal friend and values relationships with those around her. She was born in Moscow, Russia, but moved to Columbus at a young age and has made it her home. In addition to her work, Anna loves comedy and goes to shows often. Her favorite movies include Forgetting Sarah Marshall, and really, anything Judd Apatow is involved in. Anna is a proud dog mom to her 1 and a half year old pittie mix, Luca and does refer to him as her 'baby' (we don't judge her for it though - at least not much).
Shermaine Barnett is Aventi's Operations Manager. He has a background in management and customer service in the hospitality and construction industries. He is a family man with a love for his wife and a desire for a bigger home with acres of land. He'd love to travel to Africa to see the wildlife and watch the sunset over the open plains. Shermaine's favorite TV show is Martin, and his favorite movie is the Bad Boys franchise. He said if he could have dinner with anyone (dead or alive) he'd choose...his wife (insert obligatory 'awww' here). How sweet!
De'Lona Moultrie is Aventi's Sr. Business Consultant over Strategy and Planning. She's been an entrepreneur since the age of 19 and left corporate America at 25. Dee is a woman of faith and family, with a love and strong belief in truth and authenticity. She is a dedicated wife and mother of three boys, who considers her family her reason why. Dee likes surprises, loves taking pictures, and doing puzzles. Her guilty pleasure is (brace yourself) peace and quiet! Dee is passionate about time freedom, giving back to her clients and she is a natural empath.
