I am delighted to share our highlights and successes of 2023. Last year has been a remarkable year for our consulting firm as we have had the privilege of serving 161 small businesses and embarking on multiple transformative projects. Our comprehensive range of consulting services has proven invaluable in helping our clients navigate and thrive in a competitive marketplace.
Our accomplishments would not have been possible without the strategic partnerships we have cultivated. We are deeply grateful to Rev1 Ventures, the Columbus Foundation, and many other partners who have joined us in our work in the small business community. Your support and belief in our vision have been instrumental in our success.
In 2023, we are proud to have served small businesses in the following areas:
Business Planning for Profitability training program - 67 enrolled, 34 completed
Business Strategy Consulting through the City of Columbus Accelerate Columbus program - 44 businesses served, 33 completed.
Aventi Financing - 8 loans disbursed for contract financing totaling $170k, securing contracts worth $333k
Small Business Certifications - 14 businesses certified (Ohio MBE/WBE/EDGE, City of Columbus MBE/WBE, WBENC, WOSB)
We have also engaged in special projects with the Keenan Center for Entrepreneurship at The Ohio State University and One Columbus, along with hosting the Level Up Business Conference at the Ohio Black Expo. These initiatives demonstrate our dedication to fostering a supportive ecosystem for entrepreneurs and enhancing their access to resources and opportunities.
Looking ahead, Aventi aims to enhance our impact by providing more direct services to existing small businesses to secure contracting opportunities with government and corporate agencies. Our expansion plans include extending our reach throughout Ohio, reintroducing bid proposal writing services, and growing our financial resources to support the contract financing needs of our clients, reinforcing our commitment to their long-term growth and success.
